This 3-week course is an intensive beauty makeup artistry course with a heavy curriculum to maximize the time you are in class learning, with evenings prepared for research and homework. This course is designed for the aspiring artist or someone wanting to brush up on their current makeup skills. The teachings range from skin care to day and evening makeup, bridal and grad makeup to how to brand yourself and your business as an artist.
You will be required to purchase a makeup kit from the school. The makeup kit cost is $850 additional to your tuition, but includes the entire brush set, top brand cosmetics, and everything you need to begin your career.
Upon successful completion of the 3 weeks, you will receive a certificate for beauty makeup artistry. Each week is 31 total hours, divided into 25 in class hours and 6 hours out of class time. The total 3-week course is 93 hours.
Jobs will vary based on preference and interest and are not guaranteed after completion of this course, however former students have moved on to work at cosmetic counters, in the wedding industry, freelancing with fashion photographers, assisting at fashion shows, music videos, TV commercials, editorials, and headshots.
